Yes, I agree!  Both Granada and Bert Coules (who did the BBC radio shows) did a great job of transforming information dump into their respective mediums of TV and radio drama.</description>

about that information dump- made think of how well the writers for the Granada series handled all of that information (passing it off to different characters...at different times- 
like the story of beating the servant to death that Watson tells while on the train) huge chunks of info. are even more problematic in cinema
